Our Birds Nest
There are about 4 steps that we take from the time of harvest to the end of delivery to our customers. We are very detailed and careful through out the whole process. We want to ensure that our customers are satsfied with our end product.
This is what we do and how we do it.
• Harvesting raw birds nest (RBN) from the cave of East Malaysia, Sabah & Sarawak
• RBN is then sorted according to its type, condition & quality.
• Each batch of RBN is sent to external laboratory for Microbiology test, Nitrite test and Heavy Metal Analysis
• Soaking and cleaning process of RBN- uses hot vapes of 100 degrees celcius to expand the dry bird nest prior pickling.
• Picking- Feathers and impurities of the RBN are removed by workers using stainless steel tweezers with the aid of magnifying glass.
• Drying- Air dry the clean bird’s nest in 25 degrees celcius produces a crispier texture after drying.
• Each batch is then sent to the department of Veterinary service for Veterinary Health
• Certification application.
• Export then is applied to carry the process ahead.
• Forwarder will collect goods at our warehouse
• Forwarding by Sea Freight or Air Freight
• Sea Freight (LCL/FCL) to Japan takes one month
• Air Freight to Japan takes about 2 days
• Once custom clearance is done, the goods will be delivered to customer
